Rabobank Oak View Branch Robbed

The Rabobank in Oak View, formerly Mid-State Bank, was robbed at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday by a suspect described as a Hispanic male, approximately 16 to 20 years old, 5 feet, 5 inches tall with a thin build, 3-inch spiked hair, and a mole on his left cheek. The suspect left the bank, cash in hand, and was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt over a white T-shirt and white tennis shoes with black laces, according to police sources. A helicopter and K-9 Unit assisted Ojai-based sheriff's deputies in the search. Anyone with information is urged to call the Ojai Police Department at 646-1414.

More information will be posted here as it becomes available.

His photo is clear as a bell shouldn't be hard to find him

Really. Great photo. NASA can send back crystal-clear photos from Mars, and the NSA can count the hairs on your head from a satellite 200 miles out in space, but banks can't employ security cameras that can take a clear photo from 8 feet away. What does this say about the way they're running the rest of the institution ? Based on their visual security, you have to wonder how good a job they could be doing guarding your records and identity.

Is not "Rabobank" the WORST name for bank that one has ever heard? Hope the kid gets caught but didn't he do what the sign said?: "rob-a-bank"??
